Garage Mishap
I did nearly the same thing last week, I barely avoided being in your situation.
my driveway is poured so I can only get in and out of it at an extreme angle so as to avoid slamming the pinch welds against the ground. I wahsed the car, jumped in it with wet shoes, threw it in reverse in cold start mode and my foot slipped off the clutch. I pretty well went airborn out into the street before I could recompose myself and step on the gas. Luckily no cars were coming either as my street is relatively busy and people treat it like a NASCAR track. scared me a little.
I agree with the rubberizing of the pedals.

NFR from the factory has a tinted clearcoat, this I know for sure. If the repair shop does not use this tinted clear coat process (most won't) will the paint look slightly off? (a few posts above read the repaired panel looks orange under certain light). Sorry for the hi-jack.
