Is this a good price?
I found a 2003 GPW w/ Tan leather, 63k miles, clean title for $13,000. Private seller and in TX.
Is that a good price? negotiation price maybe? And would you buy a s2k with 63k miles?
Then i found a 2002 Silver, 40k miles for $9,800 but salvage title. Drives great with no problems. Comes with ap2 front bumper, rear bumper, headlights, center console, and wheels. What do you think about that? This over the 03?
Thanks for your input!

decent price on the MY03. You've got a little bit of room to negotiate, but not much.
Regarding the MY02, check all the panels and the engine bay for matching numbers. Ask plenty of questions...in fact get a carfax. Because of the title, this is a story car.

salvage title only hurts when you're trying to resell the car (if you plan on doing so within a few years)
if the car itself hasn't been wrecked and repaired (instead, stolen?) then salvage title doesnt really matter that much. Besides just the psychological pain that comes with it
But 9.8 sounds pretty high for a salvage S. 8,000's would be better if money is a significant issue.
