I was quoted msrp of 33.060.00 Dealer told me best price he could do was 32.200.00 I asked him how much a hardtop would be he said 4k installed. So that would be 36.200 with no discount on the hardtop. This is a Vt. dealer were supply is low but demand is relatively low here also. My opinion is that if I wait a little I can get the car for closer to 30k w/o the hardtop.
If you are happy paying 36k then you should go for it. All things consider you won't care once you are enjoying the car.

I PM'ed 9g's but I will let you guys know too that are in the New England area or looking to travel enough to get to CT. I have a connection with a dealer(not an afilliate just a customer). They are willing to do deals of 31K or LESS!!! More likely LESS if I can get a few S2KI.COM affiliates to go to the same sales person.(willing to deal better because of volume and referal) This dealer IS GOOD. They know their stuff.

I have been grooming them for a year now! So delivery should be a snap for you! I have delivery check lists and new buyers notes to give to people.

Just some of the CRAP you put together or keep in the back of your head after 3 years of reading this board/owning the car.

They have installed over 30 hard tops!

When I take delivery it will go........off the truck into the bay to take the spring spacers out check the car for dings/scratches and GET AWAY FROM THE CAR!!!! I will do the rest.

I believe 36.6 was out the door (including taxes).

The price I got quoted was w/o taxes and tags so you are right that is a better deal.

I will be interested to see what 9g's comes up with! Please ask the salesperson if you can give out the same deal to the rest of the forum for the cars that are coming in or that get ordered.

If all goes well I can get those interested a password and a phone # to get the special pricing.

9g's

What is your sales tax rate in Maryland? I'm curious.

Don't forget if you buy a car out of state you will probably have to pay the MD tax when you register it.

If you are in MD, you should ask your local s2ki member/sales folks. Go to MidAtlantic Club section and post, or PM Andy P, he just started working over at Jim Coleman Honda w/ Jackie, I think.
Also, check the post search for 2003 S prices, I think some were selling below $30K and I think hardtop guy sells and installs hardtop around $3K-$3.5K. So total should be below $34K.
