I use the Shon Etsu grease. I've had the car for over 3 years and have used it once. I think it's recommended to be used every 6 months, but I have the car garaged almost all the time.

Interesting comments. I got my 2000 S2000 in May of 2000 and had not uses the
Shin Etsu yet. Only 7500 miles and a lot of garage time with the top up. Think I better
put some on now as per remarks. How about down low on the inside front of the doors. Rubber meets rubber there also, I think?????

I use it anywhere there is exposed rubber, including the trunk and hood seals, door and window seals, convertible top seals and various seals in the engine compartment.

It only takes 2 or 3 minutes, but has the potential to prevent a lot of problems later.

It doesn't get your seals coated with dust and fibres like Shin Etsu either. I love it (and it has a gorgeous Coconut smell to boot!!)
where do you get this stuff (zymol seal)?

You can get the Zymol Seal at www.autofanatics.com . They sell a whole bunch of cleaning goodies.
