Actually, Schatten, what ReedZ, Rick Hesel and I have done is far different from what it listed in the FAQ. I have added the original photos to my album and updated the above post. Since the time I originally went with this solution I have made a few changes (but have not taken updated pics).

I have replaced the project box mount w/ a more permanent metal mount, connected to the windscreen. Additionally, I have raised the remote display up higher. It is now directly in front of the "SEL" and "TRIP" buttons.
