Default Hardtopguy products

3 questions (or groups) about Hardtopguy products .....

1. Is the updated map sensor better than the ones that came stock on MY03 models?

2. How many of those MTF bottles would I need to give the tech for him to do one tranny fluid change? How is the synchromesh fluid compared to Honda MTF?

3. Is the Almasol recommended as the oil for choice for our diffs? How many bottles would I need?

Thanks in advance.

Correct me if i'm wrong.

1. Same map that you have now with the addition of the zip tie to hold it down.

2. 2 Quarts is more than enough. Lots of ppl say GM stuff the good and some say the stock stuff. So you could decide. Either one will work.

3. 1 quart is enough. Different ppl have different brands they like. I used Mobile 1 or LE607.

On the other hand you can write to Hardtopguy or the people on his website and ask about the MAP sensor.

Many people here (myself included) trust him.

For #2 and #3, it's 2 quarts for the tranny, 1 quart for the diff. The fluid you choose is personal preference as long as it complies with Honda's recommendations. I use Redline MT-90 in the tranny and Redline Gear Oil or Mobil 1 in the diff.
