Has anyone ever shared a s2000? Or a car for that matter?
Here's my take on "sharing" cars - I would much rather buy a house with a friend/buddy than a car. I forgot where I read it but they say you should never sell a used car to a friend or family member and sharing a car I think falls in that same category in most situations.
You risk the friendship if anything ever goes wrong and knowing Murphy's law something will eventually....
here's some food for thought:
a) Who is going to title the car as you can't list 3 buddies on a title in most states last time I checked?
b) Who is going to insure and take responsibility for it?
c) Laws in every state differs but let's say Friend A hits a pedestrian while driving to work. Who is responsible financially / legally?
d) What if friend A never drives the s2000 while it's in his possession and wants to drive it on the same day you do?
If you say you have money which sounds like you do with your fleet of cars, why not just buy a bigger house or rent a storage space for the s2000? I would never take the risk of ruining a good friendship over a car.
Just buy what you can store or sell one of your toys, simple solution.
Of course in every case there are exceptions but I think eventually you will still have to look hard at the legal side of things.

I did it for a little while. My friend took my 1M whenever he wanted & I took his evora whenever I wanted. But it was only a once in awhile thing. I'd say 3-4 days/month max
But than I drive 500 miles/month max between the M and Exige

The issue isn't wether I have enough cash. The issue is the wife won't let me have another sports car. She works and we have two kids. This way I can honestly say its not my car. I have a slush fund so I can pay the 100-200 bucks a month without her knowing!!
See above. There's going to be a paper trail.

I think the obvious solution here is to kill your wife. A local member here has an s2000, an IS350, an IS-F, a Mercedes convertible, a second gen DSM, he just bought a Porsche Cayenne, and he's looking to buy a GT-R. However, he doesn't have a wife. Clearly you screwed up with the wife thing.
Nothing that belongs to me will be shared with another. Each time it comes back not like it left, i'm gonna be a little more tweaked than I was the day before.
Call me selfish or whatever else.
