I have had my S for a little over a year.

For the most part I have had several people call me out, and I have declined all the offers, and I have clearly not tried to start anything myself. I enjoy my time at the track doing driving schools way too much to engage in stupid street stuff.

However, I will admit I have played a few times with friends, but these have been from a stop to shifting out of first gear- just playing with each other to see who could get the drop.

Nope, I've never raced. I don't have the extra cash to pay tickets and higher insurance.

I've only raced once and it was early in the morning still the wrong thing to do, but whats done is done. Although, I can say that driving home from work each day is a challenge I always drive close to the speed limit 65-70mph on the Freeway, but right before I hit the exit I always have the urge to vtec to 100 and I usually do give in (unless there is traffic, usually none). If I do overcome that urge I then have to attempt to ignore amazing twisties on the way up the hill to my house, usually doesn't happen.

My first corner

I think driving fast is different than racing, Steve. I do that speed-up-for-off-ramp thing all the time, and I don't consider that racing (or even risky behavior for that matter).

The difference is that I don't feel I have anything to prove. I guess that's just me.

I have to admit that I did get a kick out of 2 Fast and 2 Furious the other night. The race at the beginning of the movie where they jump the bridge is very cool (if quite unrealistic)

I think "running" is much more fun than racing. I never race, but I "run" every chance I get.

Don't have an S, but I don't race in general.. only times I "race" is with friends, but we shut it down pretty quick, and never during peak hours.... we basically just like to see each other's cars perform, but I wouldn't really call it a race..
