Has anyone here NOT raced?
I've never street raced either. . . never will. My need for speed is satisfied at the motocross track on my YZ426F. I relate to those who believe that they have nothing to prove. We know what the "S" is capable of and we enjoy what the car has to offer by our "spirited" driving
Chazmo: I'm quite surprised to read your statement about never getting challenged! I get challenged often. . . nearly every time I go for a drive. Most of the challenges are young guys driving cars that I have no doubt that the "S" would embarrass. Owning the fastest car in my area has no appeal for me. Owning and driving a car that is this much fun IS important to me.

, and NOT race?? Those of you that claim to have never raced this car need to fess up. I am a 30-something lawyer, father of 2, and still I can't resist the urge to smoke every 350Z, Z4, Boxster or WRX that pulls alongside me on I-75 (70 mph speed limit here in FL) while I'm cruising peacefully along at 70, and then tries to pull on me. Am I abnormal??

In all seriousness, it might have something to do with winters. Driving in New England in winter is a humbling experience. The roads and weather are awful. Everyone has close calls. I think it affects the psyche of most drivers. There's just very little culture established around cruising or racing.
I must admit, though, that since I'm over 40, it's possible that I'm too distant from the young crowd to see it.
