1000 miles...jesus

Why own the car if you arent going to drive it? Cars are meant to be driven.

I've had mine for a little over a year, and just broke 20K

when you say like that it does sound bad

i guess what i really mean to say was i appreciate my S alot more after being in a DD

ps frozen dinners are pretty gewd.. and most collage students live of cup noodles!!
I do understand what you're saying, man.
My S is my only car, but I'm an engineer working in the automotives, and I get to drive ALOT of GM vehicles.

whenever I get inside the S after a long day, it puts a grin on my face.
Oh, yeah, I exactly know what you mean.

I fail to see why having the S as a DD would diminish it's ability to be driven "like a roadster!!" on weekends?
my S is my DD and i love it!

I DD my S and love it!!! I would not mind having a DD, but it would just be to conserve the miles I put on the S. It would not be to make me appreciate the S more???

Our car is $30k new. So what if you drive it in the ground. I rather enjoy every mile it can give me than have it sit nice and clean in the garage with nearly no miles on it.

Those with 100k+ miles, THEY know how to enjoy the car.

I have had my s for 2 years and only just today broke 1000 miles on it since I have owned it. It hardly ever gets driven cause the weather where I am at limits me to only about 6 months out of the year of being able to drive. It sux walking into the shop in december with 6 inches of snow on the ground and not being able to drive it. It is almost as if she looks at me with a frown on her face and says pleeeeease!

I understand what you mean about having two cars. I recently bought a 1994 Integra from a member on this forum as a DD for the time being; plan to build it for SCCA STX class. Switching between two cars, I find the S to be very sharp and easy to drive, certainly is a blast and a treat each time I fire up the S.

One of the main reasons it only has a 1000 on it since I have owned it is for the simple fact of 6 different left knee surgerys so kinda hard to drive a stick with a fixed brace on your leg Hell the car itsself only has 29200 on it and since the complete engine and turbo build up it has gotten to see the pavment for +-3500 miles.

However now that my knee is doing better and feeling pretty good I have been driving it a lot more latley.
Hope to get some more road time on her in the very near future before cold nasty snowey weather sets in for the next 6 months. Sux living in the far northwest corner of north carolina.
