Head rest exchange ends Friday; Version II available then

For those of you who have the first version of our leather head rests, which are being exchanged for the vastly improved Version II, the deadline for arranging an exchange is Friday, September 21. Since we have made every effort to contact and notify everyone who purchased the original head rests, we think fair notice has been provided. Nearly everyone with the originals has arranged for an exchange, and the final sets of replacements will ship this week. So if you have the original head rests and want to exchange them for the new, you have until Friday to let me know: hesel@artsci.com. The exchange is free, BTW.
On Friday, the Version II head rests will be available for purchase on our web site. The new version have the following features:
Same top quality German leather from Townsend as all of our leather accessories
Available in black, red, yellow, and silver leather, with near-perfect color match for red interior and Spa Yellow paint
New colors in 2002, to match new interior and exterior color choices
Completely sewn together, with zipper closure in the back, so that the padding can be removed or changed to soft or more firm, if you wish (although we doubt you'd want to change it).
Layered padding, with foam covered by Dacron, for extra flex and comfort.
All leather, including the surfaces, back, and sides.
Custom made, to order.
A novel force fit system that eliminates the need for unsightly velcro, wire ties, or other attachments. Once mounted, the head rests stay firmly in place at any speed, but can still be removed in a minute or two for racing.
Complete blockage of wind through the holes in the seat backs without the need for any other devices or attachments. The two-tier shape of the head rest completely fills the hole, and the outer layer prevents wind from leaking through the sides.
Quick and easy intallation -- a few minutes or less, and no fumbling with wire ties or other attachment devices.
An introductory GB price for two months that will be the same as that for the original head rests.
