Default Heater...?

Its been really cold here in Dallas the last few days...and I have to actually use the fan with heater.

Normally I just let the free flow air heat the cabin. My question is, I had the heater with all the air going to the floor, and was wondering does anyone else have heat coming out of the top vent on the drivers side, is this normal?

On a side note, the S2000 has a great heater...

Mine does that as well. As to if it is normal, I can not answer that.

Its normal and happens on almost every car! The floor gets most the side vents get a little out of it then the middle gets nothing! I keep it on top down almost all the time so it keeps my legs warm. Also keeps my hands from burning and my eyes from drying out.(unless its blowing defroster)

I usually set the flow for floor and vent or floor and windshield (as in the last little storm that we had). Seems to keep the cabin more evenly heated.

The heater is incredibly effective in clearing the windscreen in the cold.
