Default help with buying s2k

hi im 17 right now and going to buy a car pretty soon. i 've been thinking about 350z, s2k and rx-8.

i realli like the s2k's but the only thing that bothers me is that you have to rev a lot to get power..i dont mind revving but im scared taht if i drive it daily, revving it to 6000-7000, i'll ruin the engine after a couple of years...

can you explain if this is true or not..and how the car handles under 5000rpm

since most ppl in this forum own s2k's i'd realli appreciate it if you guys could help me out here

hey wats up...im 17 too, and ive experienced all the cars u were thinkin of, and I have the s2k. The s2k is definetely the best of the bunch. The engine is completely reliable and is fun as hell to get past 6k. Ive had the s2k for around 5 months now, and i still have a huge smile on my face every time i hit v-tec, and u cant say that about the z or rx-8.
SO DEFINETELY GO FOR THE S!!

Man, when I was 17 I was driving my dad's '86 Chevy Nova!

Good luck with your car search man.

rx-8 doesn't make power until high RPM either.. its redline is 9000 for a reason. Also, it will guzzle a ton of gas. check out rx8club.com and you will see anything over 20 mpg is considered good.
