Help me decide what to do!

Well, I just threw that one out there. It could be a black guy balding in his 40's.(I don't think they can have too much sun though) Shoot I guess it could be a 40 year old women, balding, with too much tanning bed driving it.
The bottom line is it's made by GM. Have you seen the interior of the vette. Garbage. Not that the S has the greatest either. Even the C5 Z06's have this terribly tacky checkard flag gauge faces.
To each his own. If a vette makes you happy rock it with pride.

Seems like you're selling yourself on the Vette, so go for it. But... What's your price range? If we're talking 40K to 50K ish, your choices really open up. The Lotus Elise is in Vette teritory in a straight line and beats it in the curves. Also another car not mentioned is the BMW Z4 Mbadge roadster. At 330HP, it is noticably faster than an S. If that is out of the price range, the Evo looks really good on paper, and just did pretty good in the motor trend handling article.
It's funny cause the more I search for the car I want, the more appealing the Evo gets. I drove an STi yesterday and I just wasn't really feeling it...but I like AWD. Maybe I'll look into en Evo.
i had a 2003 evo which i sold to buy an m3,
now i'm selling the m3 to buy an s2000
the evo was tuned to 300 awhp, 292 awtq, it felt much faster than the m3, the m3 was luxury and fast and fun to drive,
i have 2 friends with STi's, they're fun, but don't feel super responsive, its more like point and shoot
now im turning to s2000, hopefully i'll sell my m3 within the next several days
goodluck

As I said before, I'm not a fan of BMW's because I know too many people that have had horrible experiences with them. Plus, the M3 is REALLY overpriced if you're just looking for a fast car.
What did you think of the Evo, besides the fact that it was fast...
