Anyone experience this with their car?

The noise I have been hearing sounds like a cross between a loose washer rattling against a bolt that is not completely screwed in and a tiny pebble rattling inside a VERY small tin can

A bunch of us have referred to this as the "bucket of bolts" sound from the clutch. It doesn't hurt anything, it just sounds bad.

Thats the classic 3-4k rpm decelleration noise covered by Honda Tech Service Bulletin 054. I just had that fixed and WOW what a nice difference. They replace the clutchplate and the noise is gone! Go to the dealership and complain that the car makes the noise between 3-4k rpm and refer them to Honda TSB 054 if they are uncertain about anything. My dealer knew exactly what it was and ordered me a clutch the same day. Good luck!

Does Tech Service Bulletin 054 apply to year 2001 models?

You would think they fixed the problem by 2001.. I remember this problem being reported on 2000 models...

Is there an online copy of TSP 054 available? Would one of you be kind enough to direct me to it? Thanks.

you're right, only MY2000 is covered, BUT if you have the same symptoms, they will usually address it. they may have to call the district office. Be polite but firm and usually they will get you taken care of.
It sounds like the same problem doesnt it?
