Yzer,

Sorry to hear about your ride. I actually live in Beaumont & just bought a black 05 S2000. I've had 3 cars keyed before, so I know how much of a pain it is. I think I'll be taking my mom's 91 Pontiac Sunbird to the mall...

it looks like they only got the door and not anywhere else, so it's not a total disaster, I hope they get sodomized.

Hey you need to take a ride with John (04rios2k) and I sometime. I think us 3 are the only ones that post on S2ki from the Beaumont area. Occasionally we take little trips up to Houston to meet up with the "Houstooks". Keep an eye on Houston Texas area and watch for gatherings.

Also do you know Ben Beckert? He is a plastic surgeon in the area and he was telling me about a friend of his that just got a black 05 s2000 and was curious about getting a body kit on it. Is that you?

Just report it to your insurance, they have access to the DMV and can run plates (in their own states, out of state varies) but they can find out who the vehicle is registered too. They'll make some phone calls, the guy will deny it, they may be able to press the matter if the mall security report and witness confirm the license plate# although the owner can always say it wasn't him and someone must have borrowed his car and done this. I'd go through the insurance to find out, easiest and fastest way.

Yzer, sounds good. I'm in Houston often since my girlfriend lives there, so that would be no problem. Shoot me an e-mail (costa_211@yahoo.com) next time you guys head up. August is pretty much shot (in FL on business), but let me know about any future runs.

No, thats not me that wants the body kit. (Leasing mine & prefer the stock look anyway)

I vote for the 12 gauge. You have my not guilty vote if I'm on your jury.

And I also forgot to add that when I went and met up with the witness yesterday, he told me it may not have been a key but a long object in his hand.

UPDATE: The mother of the witness called me yesterday. He went and picked the guy out of a picture lin up.

I talked to the detective today and the two guys were brothers and the detective sent it to the DA.

What is the next step from here? And is anyone able to find out who this guys is by my case #? They still cannot tell me anything until it becomes public after it goes to the DA.
