If they have no priors, chances are they will plea out, and will get no jail time, probably just probation and a huge fine, as well as a blemish on their permanent records. Just because the cops are not talking does not mean they are caught. I would call them, every day, and make sure they are on top of things. The constant bugging will make them get on it just to get rid of you! Get a report number from them for the case. Then get in touch with your investigator. He should be able to tell you something.

Get a REALLY expensive attorney, beat the hell out of them in court, and then stick them with the attorney's fee as well......that will teach them!
I do not think you need to get and attorney...this is a criminal trial not a civil trial. After they are prosecuted in criminal court then you can file a civil case to get money from them for damages.

I would think your insurance company will be happy to step in once they're convicted and they'll take care of extracting money from them.

Hopefully they will serve a few days in jail, be bent over and have more than a key shoved up their A$$es!!!!

Congrats on them being identified. I was keyed two weeks ago, not two weeks after I bought the car....No leads, no witnesses, no video.

Ya I have talked to my insurance company about it already. They said let them know once I get more details when they are caught. The insurance company will get their money back and I will get my deductable back.

Man that sucks. When my trunk got keyed, i knew who did it, but the cops couldnt do anything about it because they denied it. Thats when you have to take it into your own hands.
