Ok, ok! I was merely trying to get a point across. I'm sure some of you have put more than 50lbs in the trunk, but NORMALLY, for overnight trips, I have < 50 lbs of stuff in the trunk (which consist of clothes and shoes, and misc stuff--which fill the trunk up almost all the way) Don't take anything I say as doctrine written in concete, people. Shheeesh!

The car is in the port now waiting to be "brought forward" through customs... They tell me it all depends on how quickly they can expedite it. But as of today I am being told that it will be ready either at the end of the week or early next week.

Have you put any money down on the car yet?
If you have and can get your money back, then there is nothing to worry about. Just wait to see if you like the car or not and can fit.

My father's company has a lot of textiles sitting in port that can't come through until Nov. 1 because of quota's on Chinese imports.

What is the reason for the S sitting at bay?

All I was told by the broker is that the car is in the country but still being processed.. He said it might be quicker if the car is coming in from Canada rather than Japan.. (They are made in Canada too???) Anyway, that's what I am being told and have no idea how long it will take.. I hope to be beating on it.. er I mean driving it by early next week..

BTW I got lucky and found a car at a dealership 40 minutes from my home.. Just got home from there and am in love with the car.. I fit in nicely with one exception.. The steering wheel is very close to my right thigh. And this is with the seat all the way back and at the 1st detent sitting upright!

Maybe someone out there knows how to lower the stock steating bracket??? Anyway I can't wait!!!!

I'm 6' close to 200lbs... once i gave a ride to my coworker who is 5'10" and close to 300 lbs..let me tell you, he had tough time getting out. For a moment i got kind of worry, because i don't want to embarrassed him by pulling him out of his seat!! He did messed up my passenger seat. Every time i go over a bump, i hear rattling from the passenger seat area! I did notices the Vtec was kind of weak with all this weight!!
