For the price. The 355 Berlinetta Spyder is my all time dream car. But I digress... Thanks!
No PDK, just the 6sp manual, although somewhere around half of Boxster owners seem to choose PDK. My wife simply won't have a car with an automatic, we've been a manual-only household for the 31 years we've been married.

The most surprising part is the curb weight difference is only 90 lbs, even though the Boxster is much bigger on the inside and out. S2000 sounds good in VTEC, but the flat-6 is in another league. The only part I don't like about the car is the (oem short) shifter. It feels like crap, but obviously I'm spoiled by the S2000's shifter.
+1 on the not-much-heavier, and it is bigger, looking at them parked side by side int he garage (I guess I could look up the dimensions on-line). Again, she like the S2000 better, and I think its more compact size is part of that.

We went the other way around. She got the 981 since it was her turn for the new sports car.

I really like the 981 but I do like the size of the S2000 better. Might just be that I'm used to it after 7 years.

I think we might be married to the same girl. My wife refuses to ride with me. Says the stick shift bugs her. Didn't hear any complaints when we took my buddies old Porsche out, haha.
