I love Silvania Silverstars. They are very white and very bright. I have heard they burn out quicker than most but so far I have had no problems.
yeah, some say they're too bright... but I used to get flashes in the TL every so often. anyhoo, i need them for low beams. factory lighting isn't sufficient for spirited night driving. and then there's fogs, no thanks...

thanks for the reply.

Does anybody know if the Sylvania SilverStars are any good?
In reply to the thread. You don't have to remove anything crazy just that fill bottle.

The Silverstars are a great bulb. After about 14 different sets (from PIAA to el'cheapos) and about 175.00 in bulbs. I've found these to be the closest in color match to the HID, longest lasting, most reasonable price bulbs.

You won't be sorry after the install (which I usually was)

The guy asking about using the HID after market kits for the high beams. You could, but with the notorious crappy quality of these units and the constant on & off, the balast just crap out and make it non cost effective.

The alternative for this is what I did. I replaced the high beams with the Silverstars and installed a set of these

Really pricey.. I have a chubby for lighting.. what can I say

But manOman these puppys cook the night like the sun.

They are the Hella Micro DE Xenon system
