You need to also re-do the wiring on the car and run the 06 harness which is also different.
Piggybacks dont work too great on this car because the timing varies greatly with knock feedback. The OEM ECU changes timing on the fly constantly.

that's not a problem becuase if you use cam angle sensors to adjust timing then the stock ecu still takes out its preset amount of timing based on knock. this is something that's done with all piggybacks and that's actually one of the only sole benefits of a piggyback, you retain the stock ecu's safety features.
the other is the ability to pass smog.

don't be fooled by the unfancy website... check out the features.
something else that's similar is the xede from vishnu tuning

these were all developed by enthusiasts, some having businesses and enlisting help from professionals... some just done on the knowledge base that already existed.

I got my ap1 tuned using SAFC2. Gained 9 peak and alot more after 8400 til red line (15 to 17 whp). Factory tune was way toooo rich (under 10:1 a/f ratio at some point). Power increases were seen everywhere from begining to red line. I'll post dyno graph if anyone is interested.

just thought I would put in my .02 on k-pro. Multiple thumbs up is all i have to say. Been tuning k-pro since it came out for the K series engines and i can tune without a dyno, for power and i've got plenty of graphs for my services
