stock shift knob?

Default stock shift knob?

does anyone know how to take the stock shift knob out?

Directly under the knob is a nut. loosen the nut and the knob unscrews off.

Use something to protect the anodized nut if you want it to retain it's black finish.

Take a wrench and screw the noted nut CLOCKWISE (hold the shift knob). Once the nut is loosed by half a turn or so remove the knob by turning it COUNTERCLOCKWISE.

You do own an S2000 right... and are not planning on ripping off some poor S2000's owners shift knob . Was just wondering cause your username said Celica.

I suggest all owners check the tightness of their shift knobs. I think DSF_S2K has a very valid point.

well i just bought the s2000 but i also own 2000celica gts.
