How high is your door-dent tolerance?

I've got a couple 4 dings...two are hard to notice, the other two are noticable. They are all on the passenger side as well...the two not so noticeable ones were from before I owned the car. The other two happened fairly recently and I was pretty ticked. Plan right now is to get all of them fixed next month and go back to zero tolerance. Ohh and I always park in BFE, but I'm pretty sure these happened from a-holes at my apartment complex that have already moved out. Its ok, I got them back

I only have a few small dings, but they still bother me. I park way out and of course everytime there is a minivan or SUV parked right next to me. I flipped out on the lady once b/c she parked her minivan about 18 inches from my car and had her brats piling out of the thing on the side of my car. She just gave me a dumbfounded look like she had no clue (at least 30 spots between my car and the next nearest. My biggest dent is from an acorn though, it fell right on my trunk!

ZERO TOLERANCE HERE.

I absolutely hate dings in the amazing lines of my S2K. I go FAR out of my way to park in uninhabited areas, lol. I had two when I bought the car and a PDR guy took them right out and its mint.

It depends. The one on my car was a 2" long crease from the edge of someone's door. Not a sharp crease and no paint damage either.

The dent was located low, just behind the door in the narrow space between the rear wheel and the door itself. One of the worst places to get one.

Unfortunately the PDR guy had to drill a hole in the door jamb to get it out, but get it out he did.
My car has two very slight dents along that same panel, up towards the top where it looks like someone leaned against the car. I was thinking of removing the carpet in the trunk area and having the guy run the rod behind the panel that way, along the inside of the rear quarter panel. Has anybody had that done, versus drilling a hole on the inside drivers side panel?

Despite parking at the far end of every parking lot, I have one tiny little ding on the passenger side door. I figure if I leave it alone it will act as a talisman - warding off all the other nasty dings waiting out there. Though I have to admit I try to avoid looking at it.

I have a barely noticable ding on my drivers side door. I can't even see it unless I look really hard. I used to be very anal about dings but you gotta understand that they are inevitable. even in BFE (douchebags that park next to you in an empty parking lot.

I'll get upset about it happening and then most likely promptly have it taken out.

I do have a little one right now, but it's unfortunately in a location where paintless dent removal can't get to it.

The PDR guy spent an hour trying to get to the dent via the interior of the car and via the trunk. He even tried via the wheel well. There's a metal support blocking access to the lower area and a hole is definitely required.

Pretty much zero.

Here in Vancouver, people as a whole seem to be pretty considerate of other people's cars - my '93 Prelude has a total of three door-dings on it, all minor ones.
Me too, but I hate them. My S has none in 5 years, but hardly any miles either. I did drive it today.
