Its not an f'ed up comment. Until you're truly on your own and can afford an s2k, you're a kid playing in daddy's shoes. I know its true because 5 years ago, I WAS THERE, just with another car.
We may not be too many years apart, but until you go to war and see lives end, we'll be nothing alike.
To sum it up, highschoolers, don't rice this car out, drive like a ricer, or try to be the American "drift king" on the streets--it makes us all look bad.

I dont give a shit if you went to war or not... i admire what you have done... but thats your choice.... Are you saying that your better then everyone else on this board since u went to war?
I am damn proud of my s2k and everyone who thinks i dont deserve can go F themselves...
I dont care how someone got their car. If you earned it yourselves or your parents paid for it... as long as ur not a dousche bag on the road i have no problem with u...
I kno a kid whose 22 who goes to Harvard medical school and drives a Lamborghini superleggera. If u ever meet him youd think he is the most modest person on the face of the planet. The kid got straight A's his whole life and at Harvard right now so him buying his own car if he had to work would be kinda hard... but he sitll comes back to Long Island every weeeknd to run his parents restaurant. Does he deserve his car? hell yeah.

i wish i was in HS with the S. i would have pulled mad girls
I think that there is a case by case exception to who deserves their care and it really depends on maturity. When I first started looking for my car I was not mature enough to own it. I know 19yrds that I would consider mature enough and 45yrds I would not consider mature enough. Money can't buy maturity.
I just don't like it when I see a kid who didn't have to work as hard as I had to be able to drive one, when I have friends barely making enough to stay in school who can only dream of having one.

Yeah really, but I did fine with my B18 Porsche Killer. The S hasn't gotten me any new girls, I've been with the same one since before I bought it.

use to drive a g35 sedan slammed (moms car) to hs. we ended up trading it in for my current 03 silverstone. she helped me out with down payment and im making payments and insurance right now. i pay like 900 a month......lol thank god i live with my moms still

I couldn't afford insurance on it till I was 19 and had a job.. Insurance on the S for males under 25 in Miami is pretty ugly..

The way I look at it, as long as you don't drive like an idiot and try to show off, who cares how they got their s2000. So what if their parents bought it fully for them, they are just more lucky than you were back then. So they don't deserve to drive a nice car because they're too young? I think that's absurd.
