how bout who is the youngest person here who pays for their "S" payments and insurance with no help and what type of work do they do to pay for it. And maybe how much do they make too or what not.

Excludes people who had down payments from mommy/daddy/grandparents/aunts/uncles/etc
Why not add in, pays for their rent, utilities and food too... If I didn't have to pay bills I'd be rolling in a Ferrari.

When my kids are in high school, they will never be behind the wheel of ANY type of 'sports' car. I would happily put them in a car that is extremely safe, reliable...and...FWD!!

The problem today, is that there are too many naive parents, and careless kid's.

Quite possible, but I've never seen it.

That would be me. I pay insurance, car payment, gas, etc. without ANY help from parents. I bought my S when I turned 19.

There are a good number of people around here who act like they're still in high school, check out the Off-Topic forum for examples

My first car was a 1990 Dodge Daytona Shelby, Black, Turbo, sweeeet. They've all been on my dime, but there's no way I could've afforded a car like this while in school Mon-Fri.
