how many people here are in high school
this is to everyone hatein on me just because i drive a S in HS.......
most of you say that keeping my grades up isnt worth a S...for me keeping my grades up is staying in the top 10% of my class......
i offered to get a job and at least pay for my insurance but my parents said just keep my grades up and get a scholarship which i am pretty sure i'll get.......
what costs more a college education or a S????

I just turned 21 years old, and i have had my S2k for about a month now. And I pay for everything: Car, Car Insurance, Gas, Tax, and mods. I wanted my dream car and I did everything it took to put my butt in that car. And I pay my own rent, food and everything. Don't have any relatives that I know at all really (including parents.) I just decided to do what ever it took to have what I wanted and I made it happen. Hard work and not giving up on your dreams and you can make it happen. I wanted to give up on it and just get a 94-97 integra GSR so many times; but i stuck with it and I am so glad I did. Now I think that anything is possible. I get a lot of questions and skeptics that think I stole it or sell drugs or something. I just laugh at them and say work hard+smart and be smart with your money and you too can get the things that you dream of.

I knew a kid who got a Viper for making B's. Then when he graduated he got a 500SL. A few years later he pissed off his parents and got cut from the will. I think he's walking the streets. Poor kid never learned how to work.

If you are in high school, you should not own this car.
One of a few scenarios is happening:
1. Your parents spoil you and pay for everything. You will turn out to be a horrible member of society and will definietly wreck your parents' S2000 because you dont respect it. And nobody respects you.
And dont give me that crap about "This is my reward for getting good grades!"
How about you get good grades so that you can get into a good college. And get good grades there so you can get a good job and have a good life. That should be reward enough.
2. Your parents only spoil you a little by paying for some of the S2000 and making you work really hard to pay for all those mods
. You will still probably wreck your S2000 showing off for your friends. Very little repsect for you.
3. You are working your ass off to pay for your S2000 yourself. This is not as big of an accomplishment as you would like to think because you're still living at home with mommy and daddy, who are paying for your housing, food, clothes, etc. When you are paying for these things yourself and your S, be proud. Until then, you probably respect your S quite a bit so you likely wont wreck it, but stop bragging that you pay for "everything" yourself. You dont. Still very little respect for you as well, because if you were truly smart you would be putting all that money you're wasting on an expensive car toward college. Student loans suck.
4. You are working your ass off to pay for your S yourself. And you are living in it because you ran away from home. That's what I call dedication. Much respect for you
5. You stole your S and mommy and daddy dont know about it. You are the scum of the earth.

)After reading some of these comments, I think i'll take a cruise in my S2 now!
But yea, it's awesome having an S2000 in high school. Just makes me think if I can get this car at this age, what will I get at age 40? I can only imagine.

I've had it since junior year of HS. Now a freshie in college.
As you can see here, Currahee474 answered the question in a very mature and simple way instead of taking offense,
ing, and lashing out like so many others. I have met him and he is indeed the exception to this rule.

1.) "definietly" should be spelled "definitely"
2.) "dont" is a contraction and should therefore include an apostrophe between the 'n' and 't'
3.) "repsect" should be spelled "respect"
