How much does an S2000 cost?
I was trying to build an S2000 on hondacars.com (official website), but all it allowed me to do was pic a color and submit. The cost given was $32,000 (a few hundred over that price-but under $33,000. Are they playing games by fooling me into thinking that is the fully-loaded price, or is it really that? How much would a fully loaded S2000 cost?
There really are no real options to speak of. You can add some body mods, or if you want to spend another $2500 or so you can add a hard top. The price is as quoted on the website. There are some people who are paying less than MSRP and a few who pay more... The price you pay seems to depend on where you live and how well you bargain. Personally, my attitude is never pay more than MSRP. Good luck with your hunt!
Just so you understand, the Mach I and the S are two totally different cars. I could see if you were considering the Boxster S or BMW's new Z4 to the S; but, the Mustang is a much different car than the S is.
And yes, that is the price of the car.
And yes, that is the price of the car.

How is the burnout ability on the S2000? My brothers 2k2 z-28 is unbelievable. He did a 115ft burnout-bone STOCK. I know they are not comparable, but can the s2000 smoke? The only thing I dislike about the Mach 1 is the tires. The GT torque thrust tires are better than the Mach 1's. I'll visit a local Honda dealership and check it out.
