Default How to replace radio lid

Hello,
Can any one help me here?

I have a 2000 s2000 and want to replace the radio lid with the brushed aluminium one that comes stock for the newer models.

I have got the lid unit out but the lid is still stuck on there.
I think I only have to remove the hollow pin that is holding the lid to the unit but not sure.
And if so not sure how I would go about taking the pin out.

If any one has done this before could you please give me a tip on how to remove this pin.

Thank you very much for your times....

to remove the pin you need to use a small phillips screw driver or a circuit tester and push from the inside. when you get a small portion pulled out you can grab with a pair of needle nose pliers. have fun.
