5.) And finally, if you think a S2000 engine is the only vtec that can fit in there, then tell me how people put a NSX engine in it, regardless of other modification
BTW, you cannot use the NSX tranny in the S2000 because the NSX has a transverse mounted engine, which makes putting the NSX tranny in the S2000 plainly impossible.
How did you hear of this? Did some twerp at clubsi say it was possible/done or something. I have NEVER SEEN A S2000 WITH ANYTHING BUT A F SERIES MOTOR! If you can miraculously post pics of the NSX powered S2000 I will admit I'm wrong. I know you won't and can't because it doesn't exist. One member here says he has a LS6 in his S2000, but he has not produced pics and no member here has seen his car (and many know him in the physical world). Bottom line...he's full of shit too.
Not to defend mr clean too much or insult you, EVERYONE HAS SAID THAT OTHER ENGINES ARE JUST NOT POSSIBLE AND/OR FEASIBLE and yet you still doubt it. Pop open the damn engine bay and compare it with yours already!!!

Man, I'm kind of curious now... what's some crazy stuff you've seen?

Those are stories for another time though. But they make me
just thinking about them. I actually work on the corporate side and worked my way up through sales, but staying friends with the service department earns you some funny stories from time to time......of course, we've seen some crazy stuff on the sales side too
I kinda agree with some of the others that this is kind of a crazy question, but that is ok
The bottom line is this, Your buddys S2000 is a MY02. The MY02 redlines at 9k rpm. That means that it will rev to 9k rpm. Not 8,400 rpm, not 8,700 rpm, but 9,000 rpm. Your buddy has a MY02. It revs to 9,000 rpm.
The person that said he can rev to 9k rpm all day without the rev limiter kicking in, meant that he can rev it to exactly 9,000 rpm without engaging the rev limiter before shifting into the next gear. I have spun my engine to 9,000 rpm with the red lights to the right side of the tacko flashing red in fifth gear for 10 seconds at a time. NO rev limiter at 9k rpm.
If your buddies engine does not spin to 9k rpm's, there is either something wrong with it, or he doesn't know enough to utilize the full rev range, thus use the potential of this car.

Bizarre thread! Hey, I've got a little news item for ya! There is no other engine like the F20C engine. Zero! Nada! You can verify that engine in no time flat! Why is there even a question about this engine? Is this the Twilight Zone?
