How well does the S2000 shift?
I don't think Car&Driver would have picked the S2000 to be #1 in the latest issue if the S2000 had anything other then perfection in terms of shifting. Mine is absolutely the best, and I get goose bumps every time I shift gears....

Go to your local auto parts store, buy a can of Marvel Mystery Oil, open it up and insert screwdriver bit in first. At this point, grab the screwdriver with your shift hand and mimic your atypical shift pattern.

Different cars shift differently and once you get used to that one car, it's gets easier IMO. Find the sweet spot, and there's no other car like it.
Like everone suggests Drive it and you'll know, it's smooth.
