I need help!
I see it like this:
If you are single and without kids go for the s2k. This is the time in your life for a car like that. You can get the sports sedan later when you need to tote "the fam" around!
(disclaimer: I am not suggesting that you should not own an s2k if you are married and/or have kids if you have the means to own more than a couple cars! I would also have to state that any future wife of mine will have to deal with me AND my S2000
)
Seriously, they are both great vehicles, but VERY different animals.
Drive both and see what you think.

I'll tell you guys this:
I test drove both cars on Sunday....and hands down, I fell in love with the S2000.
I am single right now, and don't have kids to worry about.
My biggest fear though is this....
I'm afraid that I'll make the bite for the S2000, and then kick myself in the nuts 2-3 years from now since it's only a 2-seater and not as practical.
I'm not saying that it'll happen, I'm just playing my own devil's advocate and trying to look at the situation from all angles.
Am I missing something...anybody else can shed some light/guidance from their experiences thus far?

Not to sound fatalistic, but you might not even be alive in 2-3 years. Enjoy life in "the present".
If you really dig the S2000 than get it.
Question though: What cars have you owned previously/ currently?

Besides, if you don't get married for 3 years, then wait 2 years before you have a kid you will have had the car for 6 years before the kid is actually born. You should have it paid off by then so you can afford the payments on that shiny new minivan, and still keep the S for the weekend.
Don't over think it. Follow your gut.

I'll be leaving my 1995 Honda Civic coupe. I know...either choice will be a world of improvement.
The TL will give you class, comfort, conveneince, reliability, and a good bit of sportiness.
The s2000 will give you fun, sun, "permagrin", reliability(with regular maintenence), and attention.
The s2k is more of the "hey look at me" variety whereas the TL is more like, "I'm just cruising with everyone else".
Your only concern with the s2k being your daily driver might be the firm suspension/ride. You've driven one so you know what it feels like. Its not "bad", but you do feel pretty much every pebble on the road. That aside it is nothing but fun, and its not like a Civic rides like a Lincoln Towncar!

Like Warren above, I drive my S daily (almost) in Massachusetts. I traded a 99 Integra LS (before that a 93 Civic EX) for it and, while there are times I miss the extra 2 seats, the hatch and the space that offered, (and, yes, the car in general, it was a really nice car) I don't regret for a second getting the S, and when the sun's out and the top's down and the wind's blowing through my hair, well, this
is me!
If you need/want 4 seats, I'm sure you'll be happy with the Acura, if you want a roadster, you'll be ecstatic with the S.
