Default I need some help

Hi all first post but i need a bit of advice.

I currently have a Civic Type R but am looking to switch to a S2000, i have found one but it is an import.

Its done 51k miles and in very good condiditon inside and out apart from the front right wing seems to be a slightly different shade to the rest of the car!

I have driven it and it drives nice and everything inside and outside the car looks and works lovely but i was just concerned incase it had been involved in a major accident in Japan and then brang over here...is there anything i can do to check if that is the case?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tony

Eyeball the paint. Check to see if the texture of the paint is consistent on ALL the body panels. Check for oil leaks under the hood. Even inspect the under carrage for possible parts that have been replaced or cosmetic damage. Have a compression test done prior to writing any checks.

And try asking this question in the UK forum, where they can give you the specifics for UK imports.
