The best kick in the ass for the dollar may be the 4.44 gears.

18s aren't out of the question, if you use the stock or close to stock widths... going 9 in the back makes it stick out the side... A honda dealer building turbo kits with warranty coverage?? Man, I need to go to Boca!

the owner of this honda dealership also ownes the acura dealership i bought my last car from(2001 gsr). they just opened the honda part last month. at the acura dealership they take brand new gsr's and now rsx's and add turbos and superchargers to them, then put them on the showroom floor with a marked up price and sell them brand new allready modified with warranties.........wish they were open 2 months ago when i bought my S.....

quick question? if 9's in the back have the right offset wont that work? and how much will the 18's effecet the smoothness of the ride? my gsr would rub all the time and i hated it....and the ride was rough...

I have not had any problems with my 18's. They are 8.5's in the rear. There a quite a few owners with 19's as well.

bullet, my offset is insane... My RGs were purchased from C-West... They are off of one of their track cars... I can slide my hand inbetween the spokes and my calipers (stock)... I've not seen anyone with 19s not have any negative camber... XconZ, I didn't think your 18s were perfectly vertical... hmmm....

I think it's fun to see what creative people with discretionary income can come up with to personalize their S2ks. But I've wondered more than once while reading this site if people get to know their cars very well before the mods come on. After a weekend driving school (autox type) with about 9k on the odo, it really felt like my engine opened up. I'm sure a timed run wouldn't have been very different before and after the school, but it did feel different. Tomorrow I'm putting a set of Konis and H&R springs on the car. Lowering the center of gravity and addind adjustable shocks=real world fun. Sorry about your straight roads in Florida, but I'd suggest you check out some local SCCA clubs or find the nearest track that lets you rent time for lapping. The more you get to know this car in a competitive non-street environment the more you'll like it and t6he faster you'll feel in it. Don't be another one of those guys with heavy 18 inch wheels/tires and a loud exhaust that's actually slowed down his factory set-up just so people look at him.
Just my 2 cents.

We may be the only two people who have gone in the direction that we have.
over the years I have gone from 8 cylinder to 6 cylinders and with the purchase of an s2000 I will be down to 4 cylinders. My cars have gotten slower and slower in the 1/4 mile over time but progressively better handling. When I get the s2000 it will be certainly be the best handling car I have owned and definitely not the slowest. My stealth handles like a dream but is only a 15 second machine. My 2nd mustang which im closing the deal on currently ran low 12's in the 1/4 but couldnt turn for sh!t. I've found I highly prefer driving fast to driving fast solely in a straight line.

Best free WHP you could do is lose some weight, go on a diet. Not only will your car be faster but you will also be a lot healthier.
