deadpedal,

9000RPM was the guy down here that had the Injen CAI first. When he cut his fake duct, he got much better performance out of his CAI. Make sure you keep that filter clean to getthe best performance.

And, with any luck, I'll have my electric duct opener all figured out...
You must post details....!!!

I just got my Injen CAI in the mail today. It too was missing the M10 nuts and washers. I just stopped by the hardware store and picked up a bunch just in case I do need them.

deadpedal, so you didn't cut anything? I thought you had to cut two slits in the wheel well to get the CAI into the bumper!!

Well, I'll be down in the garage in a few minutes, hacking away at my car

I just got my Injen cai and installed it in my car in 2 hours without taking the bumper off! It was the best thing I could have ever done besides my Tanabe race exhaust. Just do it!

How did you get the filter on without taking the bumper off. I tried and tried and all I managed to do was bend up the filter. Couldn't get it to fit through the hole no matter what I cut. I ended up having to take the bumper off in the end. Did you take the inside of the fender off instead? Also wondering when the filter normally needs to be cleaned? Thanks.

What is so time consuming about this install? It seems like a stick it in and go 30 minute job.
