Default Interior light and head light beep.

I just noticed the other day that my interior light does not stay on for a delay when I take my keys out. Also if I leave my lights on and no key in the ignition I dont get a warning beep. Now I am seconding guessing my self if either of these actually ever happened or not. Are they supposed to happen and does it mean my battery is running low? Its an 02 so I would not think it is the battery.

There is no interior courtesy light delay feature on my '00.
I get a warning beeper when my headlights are left on and I turn the ignition off and remove the key.

Im saying that when my door is open my light does not come on any more unless i turn it to the "on" setting. What would cause my car to stop beeping if the key is out and the lights are still on? Plus my drivers side window only goes down automaticly about 1/3 the way when I put the top down. All my electronics are covered under an extended waranty but i dont know if I want them screwing with wires trying to find the problem and cause more trouble in the end.

It sounds to me that your ground connection at the door pin has gone bad. Will the light work from the other door? This needs to be fixed to get the lights to work.
The headlight ON chime is a separate system. Perhaps that module has malfunctioned.
The window going down part way is a well known problem. Your window regulator has gone kaput. Honda has a TSB for this. They should replace your window regulator. Good thing you have warranty. That regulator is not cheap. It involves taking your door apart.
For the time being, you can try a temporary fix for the window. Who knows, it may fix it for a long time but it usually comes back. With ignition on, lower the window and continue to hold the button till you hear the regulator "click". It has now reset itself for that limit. Now, close the window and keep holding the button till you hear another click. It has now reset itself for that limit. Turn the ignition OFF. The time you turn it on and use the window, it "may" have cured itself .......... for now.

Check the door switch - either the wire or switch has gone bad. Do you get the "door open" idiot light on the dash when the door is open?

A quick way to check is to try the passenger door and see if it acts any different.

Just because you thought if it first doesn't mean it isn't worth repeating
