Juddering when entering VTEc range

I am a new user and would like to see if anyone has experienced what I am at the moment.
I have only had my S2000 for about 4 weeks, but about a weeks ago I was going down the M4 and decided to open her up. I got upto about 120ish in 6th and it started to get into the VTEC range, but became very lumpy and didn't want to accelrate comfortably, so I slowed it down. Now, whenever I get her into the VTEC range it is really lumpy and doesn't seem to like it.
I have checked the oil, although abit low still above minimum.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

No need to buy from Honda. Find out what weight oil is in it and just add a good brand equivalent weight. I suggest you read the owners manual from cover to cover ASAP. The proper weight oil is addressed in the owners manual and GB may be different than other places. Enjoy.
I've had something similar on two occasions (unable to reproduce for the dealer).
First time: 3500 miles, car warmed up completely (20 minutes of driving, 85 degrees out). WOT in 1st and at the transition to VTEC (6K) it felt like I hit the cold temp cutoff. At next launch, the car was fine.
Second time: just last week, 6500 miles, car warmed up completely (30 minutes of driving, 78 degrees out). WOT in 1st to 9K, upon shifting to second the RPMS dropped below 6K and it felt like I hit the cold temp cutoff. It did this twice! I didn't try it again until about two hours later...it's been fine since.
This would really suck if it occurred at Autox.

Did you have gas, not trying to be a smartass, but if you have low fuel the car will not let you accelerate into vtec, ive done it several times running the gas out, sounds like what youre talkin about. and i mean real low fuel.
