Is it just me...
Ha Ha! This thread is awesome. I totally agree with the dudes who are anal about the car....I always freak out when I take it to the dealer and do a full walk around inspection before I leave a dealer...
I had to punch someone in the jejunum once because they wouldnt keep their feet off of the friggin bolsters...

Agree with all and add the jerks (including dealers) who slam down the hood, scratch the rims when replacing tires, eat like pigs (especially greasy food) in the car and don't even clean up after themselves, forget to replace valve stem caps when checking tire pressure, set book bags on the trunk/hood when chatting, reach over and turn the rear view mirror towards themselves in the passenger seat (plus leaving thumb prints on the glass), shove/force CDs in the player, manually (finger push) adjust the side view mirrors so they can see something, use the sun visor as a place to store mail or anything else that later falls out unexpectedly, and worst of all the car hop places (Sonic) that want to hang food trays and the like off your car door/window. Alas, to keep my BP down I just grin and and bear as life's too short to sweat the small stuff......
My boy hops in the other day. Were waiting for the car to warm up and he begins talking to me WHILES opening and closing the radio door constantly. -_- I felt like someone was poking me with a needle every time he popped it open and close.

2. Do others run their index finger on your paint to prove to you that: "Hey bud, you need to wash your S?" Of all people, the owners (you and I) are well aware of the S needing a wash. Running fingers over paint with "abrasive" dirt causes um...scratches that just don't go away.

). Particular regarding the paint, I've stressed the importance of using the right tools and procedures when washing so not to cause any unnecessary marring that would have to be corrected later. After all that discussion, every time he sees my car he feels the need to take one finger on a a two-foot swipe down some portion of my paint and then procede to look at the tip of his finger to determine how dirty my car is. And each time it...

I have a coworker that has a red 350Z convertible and he's always been particular about the paint. Once he found out what I've done to clean and detail my S, he started asking me all kinds of advice (I'm not expert, but I've learned a lot from the W&W forums
