Man, never ceases to amaze me that people will buy $300 front lips and $500 air intakes, but can't fork out $100 (or less) for a tool that will READ WHAT IS WRONG WITH THEIR CARS!

But I agree, get a Scangauge II. It will not only pull codes, but show you tons of other info about your car. Awesome tool.

Word.

Craigslist, ebay, etc all have cheap second hand ones that;ll read the code for u, and it's always good to know a local mechanic, their resources are priceless (if for nothing else getting dealer parts at their rate).
