The K&N website says it will add 10HP at 6500.

Not BS. I wish the search was better. There was an Atlanta owner that put his car on the dyno before and after installing the K&N filter charger. He roughly saw those type of gains. His screen name was 850, here is his post: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=69312

5 HP at peak and more at various other RPM's. This is better than any other CAI or exhaust that I've seen controlled dyno runs for.

 

i doubt if it will give a real 10 hp, that sounds like a lot from an air intake/box. the honda comes so well designed from the factory not to loose any simple hp like this mod picks up...that being said it looks like a real cool mod and what would it hurt? i would pass as i am very happy with the the car i bought.

 

When a dynochart shows a stock s2k making only 168 baseline hp, there has to be other issues at hand.

 

i have it and love it. try searching for FIPK (fuel injected performance kit) you will get some links. forget the extra power, i bought it b/c it sounds awesome! it growls then flat out wails once you hit VTEC, similar to how it sounds when you take off the factory filter box lid.
