If you want a K&N FIPK, pm "BlownAP" - he works for them and can get them at a good price ($180 + shipping is what he told me).
yea, but have you been able to order it?

he PM'd me the same thing, but never heard from him since I tried to order it.

maybe he just doesn't come online very often...

He isn't online very often. It took him two days to reply to my initial PM.

I have the comptech intake and to me it just seems like a very good design. It sits all the way on the side and the box prevents any hot air from entering the intake. The K&N are exposed so im sure they get dirty very quick.

I have the K&N drop in filter with the AUT cooling plate and gutted airbox. Without gutting the airbox I didn't really feel any difference. Even with the gutted box I am going to install a FIPK so I can get more throttle response and sound.

I just installed the K&N on saturday and let me tell you, the car pulls very hard in 2nd and 3rd in VTEC. Very noticeable difference. I'm sure the T1R 63 and the TP help bring out the power from the K&N too, but what a kick in the a$$ it gives. And of course... the Aural Pleasure is orgasmic...
