Comptech is a nice bling! It has a mean roar also. But mines doesn't rattle under acceleration nor does my Cf lid get scuffed. Much props to the installer (me)
Just have to put it in right.

Yea, I sure do suck at putting intakes in.

The Comptech has a design flaw, plain and simple.

For you.

Some have skills that you clearly do not possess.

my pick:

suck in hot air? loose a few hp? I could careless, I dont track my car and I'm not a street racer

definatly music to ear and really depends on the temp. in your area for it to suck in hot air. I dont see how it would be hotter or loose hp compare to the stock box though.

not to mention install is a piece-of-cake!!! it was fun playing with the rubber sealing too

comptech sits nicer in the bay with the cf I have to admit

go for CT if your bling bling!

cheers,
eric

definitely the best set up for the money hands down, which is why i am running the same

K&N FIPK: $240
AUT Cooling plate: $180
extra money in your wallet with added functionality: $Priceless$

$420 for both of these pieces. how much does a CompTech intake system cost?

Not to mention the Comptech fits like shit and needs a lot of work to keep the rattles to a minium.
Blasphemy. I had probably the worst setup because I bought a used Comptech intake that didn't have a horn bracket and was missing screws. It took about an hour.

Verdict: Anyone that knows how to install an intake (and they really should if they are INSTALLING an intake) could easily make it fit. It does not rattle at all, and it looks/sounds the best IMO. I had the AEM before it and the power is no different, just sounds a little louder and looks cooler.

COMPTECH FTW!

I was looking at adding the FIPKI to match with my AUT plate, but I want to know this too.
