Any s2k fans near Wichita Kansas, or clubs close to me

 

I'm in KC and know there are a few owners around....just got mine last summer and have not had a chance to hook up with anyone local...you'll probably get a few responses to the post....I'm curious as well.

Never been to KC , maybe I'll drive up my first weekend with the Car

 

I'm in Overland Park...I hope to order one in the next month or so.

I only see about 1 or 2 per week around the KC area.

 

I am in Springfield, Mo...very few owners down here......maybe we need a Mo/Kan club

 

I was reading about the Fall Colors drive up in the NY area in October....maybe we should organize our own Midwest version down through SW Mo/Northern Arkansas during the fall. Any interest? I think there is a group in the KC area that has about six owners....all 30 something, some single, some married. I think we could organize a nice size group for the right event....

Hey Ozark2000....any interest in helping organize a fall event...maybe South through Branson, cut over to Eureka Springs for the night then back up through the Table Rock Twisties....this could be a hoot of a time. I used to drive this route when I worked for a laboratory in college....I was given a little 4-banger Nissan Sentra...100K miles in one year and just flogged the crap out of that car! I can remember having a pretty decent "time" on the stretch from the Arkansas border up to the "T" that turned back to Cassville....about 20 miles in 17 minutes...or something like that. I just remember that this was always a beautiful drive and in the fall it was spectacular.

Hey Ironmaul...How far of a drive is that for you? Interested? I would be willing to help organize....I'm sure some of the other KC contingency will pick up this thread over the next few days. You need to call Greg Weyrauch at Chezick Honda...no BS kind of guy....tell him Todd referred you to him....He'll get a kick out of that.....just what ever you do, don't go to Jay Wolfe....these guys are a$$holes and are incompetent in servicing the S2000. My .02

I'm in Oklahoma City.......there's a few S2k's around here, but only like two that do anything with them.

 

I'm in Napa, but I was born in Wichita, Wesley Hospital. Does that count?

 

Kind of like that old saying:

you can take the kid out of Wichita, but you can't take the Wichita out of the kid...counts in my book....You wanna come to the midwest for a meet? Consider it an adventure.....

 

We meet from time to time....Z06-KLLR(Topeka), Jaded41(KCMO), Mace(Olathe), Thomas Laporta(I think OP), & myself. We need to get another meet together soon!
