IVE EVEN HEARD OF GETTING SOME OF THEM FROM FISH STORES, I GUESS THEY YSE THEM IN THE FILTERS...TRUE?

The krank vents use 2 units. Your PCV valve you got from comptech is just one unit. They do not do the same thing.

Same thing for any car really. If you use the system as designed with both units it's a universal application.

So, people are claiming reduction in oil consumption. I assume this is because there is less oil blow-by going around the pistons in to the crankcase. Is this vent going to reducte the cylinder lubrication because of this?

yes, it can be assumed that these cause less blow-by. This wouldn't affect cylinder lubrication since that is done by oil being splashed/squirted up to the walls and piston. There are holes all around the piston to feed the oil ring. This system just allows the rings to seal up and do their job better.
