You can also go to home depot or lowes, and get some foam tape (its usually for sealing doors/windows). It comes in all different sizes, and has one side sticky. I have eliminated quite a few rattles by placing that on interior parts.

someone sticky this. this is a very good thread and super useful. i had soft top rattling problems, but i had the dealer fix mine under warranty. the did the same thing, first shin-etsu grease.. then when that didn't work, they added "foam" which was the ept sealant.

btw they used the same ept sealant to fix the glove box in my accord. that stuff is super useful!!!

this work for real. i'm so happy.. and if you know how to talk to the lady at honda parts you can get the EPT SEALANT fro free =)

After doing the mod in this thread the only ratting I get out of the latches is when the top is down. Still need a fix for that.
