maybe the problem is not the clutch or the way your drivign it could be the 150lbs of tqw or maybe the low amount of hp????????

I agree that is ultimately the reason why the launch is so critical, but my problem is that my clutch is not strong enough to put the power to the ground. If I pop the clutch at 6000 RPMs, the car barely moves while the clutch spins freely.

right the clutch is not strong enough to hold the high rpm launch but in the original post he talks about the rpms falling thats because lack of power. in my old cars as soon as the tires hooked up the rpm's fly up. the reason the rpms drop is because lack of major power. in order to get a good luanch theres no need to drop it at such a high rpm just fan the clutch right before you feel the rpms will fall it will keep the rpms.
