So I was putting my board bag in my car and it kind of hit my rear view mirror the wrong way, and the thing fell off. No big deal, I thought it would easily just snap back on or something....but nopeth. Been two weeks now w/ no rearview mirror and I can't manage to get the damn thing back on.

note: this is so embarasing that I have to ask this question. I've worked out a bajillion problems on different cars and even tore apart and rebuilt the motor on my old car, but for the life of me, I can't get this damn rear view mirror back on

any thoughts or something remarkably simple that I am missing, would be appreciated!
