Not much for me, about 325 miles each way MD to NC's Outer Banks a few times.

Did 600 miles Ottawa to MD in the Miata once, about 13 hours IIRC.

I find these little roadsters just fine for long trips, esp compared to the MD to New Orleans once in a 1978 Dodge Omni, about 23.5 hours including stops.

I drove from Abilene, TX to Hillsboro, OR and back a couple weeks ago in the S2K. Last time I did that was seven years ago when the car was new. Still the same ride after seven years and 36,000 miles. :-)

Longest trip in my ap2 was when I flew down to Atlanta to pick it up and drove it back home to Minnesota. 19hours later and I was home. The ride was better than I thought it would be.

Great thread.

7200 miles, 13 days. MD-SD-CA-NV-TX-MD for Homecoming II. This included a two-night stay in the DFW area, two nights in Monterey, CA, and two nights in Irvine, CA. So really we were driving for 9-10 days.

It was a great trip, and aside from cramming all our crap in the car, it was one of the most comfortable road trips I've taken.

Did over 1,200 miles this week. All over Oregon and Washington. My wife managed to fit everything 'we' needed in a duffel bag
