Exactly;planning to spend a few days vacation in the Cape Cod area,so all together,should be more or less 2000 miles.
Anybody else attending the Nor'Easter meet??
Emil! I'll be there...about an 8 hour drive from Washington, DC, but I doubt I'll do it in one day. I've not driven the S on too many long trips. Drove to the OH Buckeye Run in Cleveland, and to Fall Colors in Pittsburgh. I like driving along fun, twisty roads (like through the mountains of WV) whenever possible, so it always takes me longer to get somewhere. Will be going to Vintage Spring Fling in June up to Watkins Glen, NY, then in August to the Nor'Eastern Meet. More fun in the S for 2006!!

Okay, but has anyone slept in their S? I did once when I was too tired to keep driving. I would avoid it if you can, but it is doable depending on how tall you are

I invested in two things to help:

Rick's has headrest inserts (leather covered cushions) that reduce backdraft;

And I found a link (here, somewhere) to inflatable lumbar cushions that fit behind the seat back.

Those make the cockpit more comfortable. HPH
