I drove to Panama City, Florida last year from Bmore for spring break, was about 16 hours, probably like 900 miles, in one day, and my friends would all bitch cuz their busted family cars would go 450 miles on gas when i would have to stop every 250, ride down sucked cuz it was like 15 degrees, but a week later on the ride back the top was down the entire time cuz it was like 75degrees ........ good times
I've only been on a 2 hour trip but mine is the most comfortable car that I've sat in. I'm 6'1".
I think the key is to sit all the way in the seat as far as you can. Then, it becomes very comfortable. I slouched my butt forward some when I first got it and it was uncomfortable quickly with an aching back. Now, I push myself all the way into the seats and love it.
Ft. Benning, GA to Pasco, WA. 2700 miles. Would have been a little shorter, but I knew I'd never forgive myself if I didn't drive the dragon on the way back. Stopped only twice just to sleep for a few hours. My god, Omaha to Salt Lake City has got to be the most boring drive in the world, especially after driving the dragon.
(picked a perfect day too, not a soul driving either direction that day
The longest trip that I have taken in the S hasn't been very far at all. I went from NY to southern Jersey to go to Six Flags a few times, which is only a 3 hour drive. I'm trying to keep the mileage low

You must be taking the long way! I'll see you there, if not sooner.
Exactly;planning to spend a few days vacation in the Cape Cod area,so all together, should be more or less 2000 miles.
Anybody else attending the Nor'Easter meet??
Not as long as many, but mine was about 1200 miles over a four day trip during SacS2KDays last year. This years will be longer due to the drive down to Sac to begin the festivities.
