back from the dead...a 1.5 year old thread but good point on a salesman that doesnt know anything about the cars he/she is selling...oh wait nevermind, almost 95% of the salesman are totally ignorant about the vehicles they are selling anyways

 

Contrary to what is said above, they did not really "fix" any of the issues until 03. When I write that I am referring to things like the TSB 54 issue.

The 02 cars do have tweeetrs in the door, but the stereo is still junk. The 02's do have a glass rear window, but it is smaller. They have leather on the center console, a personal preference.

The biggest thing the 02+'s have against them is that they are softer than the 00 and 01 cars due to a revised suspension setup -- meant to make the car less nasty near the limit.

I purchased my second S2k yesterday and opted for a 00. Honestly, I could just as easily have gotten a 03 or new 04 -- no thanks.

 

I'm also looking into getting a S2000, I truly love and admire it. Can someone clearly state the main differences between 01 02 03 model years?
Sorry for bugging you guys but the only place where this question can be honestly answered.
